News: FOCUS Wales add another 100+ acts to already stacked line-up
The good folks from FOCUS Wales have just unleashed another 100 acts they've booked for 2026's edition in Wrexham. The international showcase festival has become one of the best the UK has to offer in recent years and promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with an increased line-up and extra stages added for this year.
Over the three day period of May 7-9th, the streets of Wrexham will be swarmed with artists, music industry professionals and music lovers all looking for their next big musical obsession. Headlined by established acts like Fat Dog, Idlewild and Shame, the festival also acts as a huge opportunity for artists from all over Wales, the rest of the UK and - increasingly - the entire globe.
The new acts added to the bill include some old favourites, but several acts making their debut. NNWNF friends and festival stalwarts Campfire Social and Baby Brave return; hopefully they won't be clashing this year. Returning acts from further afield include Cowboyy, Cruush, Lime Garden and Wynona Bleach.
International acts to look out for making their debuts at FOCUS include alt rock five piece Bitterfly from Canada, the spellbinding RAKEL from Iceland and the blistering, fuzzy garage punk of Portugal's Sunflowers. Our HQ (i.e my house) was buzzing to find out that New York's disco punks Two-Man Giant Squid will also be performing three shows this year. We're big fans here at NNWNF and you can read frontman Mitch's track-by-track guide to their self titled 2025 album below.
