Podcast: The Partisan Contingent Episode 7

Just when you thought it was safe to venture into the world again with reckless abandon, it's time for another episode of our Award-avoiding podcast The Partisan Contingent!

It's episode 7 and it's called 'Hefty Intellects' - listen below with only a Thesaurus for company.

Our guests this time are Ben and Dom from Manchester Dark Punks The Battery Farm! We talked to the lads about their new album Dark Web - to be released in November on Rare Vitamin Records. We also talked about the Manchester music scene and how it has grown since they first started playing in bands, and somehow we started talking about Wrestling. Mainly because I asked about it..

The band recently released 'It's a shame, Thanks A lot', the brooding third single from Dark Web, check out the video below.

With the 'End of Days' seemingly around the corner, it was only right that Ben and Dom got to choose their song choices for the Apocalypse That's What I Call Music playlist - a collection of tracks to soundtrack the coming darkness that will surely engulf us all. FUN FUN FUN.

You can listen to the full playlist below, curated by the bands and artists we've interviewed for this podcast as well as few extra added by NNWNF  for the love of the utter futility of it all.

You can follow The Battery Farm on social media on FacebookInstagram and X

As always we recommend you buy from Bandcamp, preferably on Bandcamp Friday where the artists will benefit most from your purchases.
